As the sun settles over Lake Holcombe, the boots hit the deck, the drinks get cold, and the unmistakable sound of Waylon’s greatest songs fills the shoreline. From “Luckenbach, Texas” to “Good Hearted Woman,” “I’ve Always Been Crazy,” and of course “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys,” it’s an evening built for everyone who remembers when country music had a little more grit and a lot more soul.
